Inaugural Orca Cup a Great Success!
Orca Cup 2019. It has been a dream of Seattle Saracens to one day host a fully inclusive rugby tournament that would accommodate young kids, youth, men, and women all at one event.
We also want to educate those new to rugby that there is a big community which helps people play sport, find friendships, find work opportunities, travel opportunities and be part of a bigger family. Be part of "The Stuff People Don't See" - TSPDS
We hope to grow this tournament year-to-year, bring more teams to the event, highlight having fun and celebrate our community and rugby culture…..together.
Club VP Business, Gareth Wade said; "This year was a huge step forward and a great success, we have things to improve on but we are excited for the challenge and are already planning Orca Cup 2020. Congratulations to all the teams who won -and to everyone who took part and joined in. This was a day when Rugby won!"
We could not do any of this without our sponsors, board of directors, players, medical staff, volunteers, vendors and supporters. Massive thanks to our main event sponsor; Penington Painting Company and also a huge shout out to everyone at Starfire Sports for helping us make our dream a reality.
