Our History

What makes Seattle Rugby Club truly singular is that it isn't just one club — it's three. Founded in 1966, Seattle Rugby Club created partnerships over the decades with Old Puget Sound Beach and the Puget Sound Breakers, each bringing their own identity, championships, and generations of players.
Through mergers, evolutions, and the kind of fierce loyalty only rugby people understand, these clubs didn't just coexist — they became one. The lineage runs deep: Pacific Northwest titles, National Championships, USA Eagles, a founding role in the Rugby Super League and in the creation of the current Major League Rugby.
